Because of our newspaper format, we are unable to guarantee the results of reverses, burns and fine print. Ads rarely float and it will be generally re-bordered to fit the correct size.

Sizes may vary depending on which edition(s) you choose to advertise in. All sizes may not be availible in every edition. Advertising rates and sizes may vary from publisher to publisher. The posted rates and sizes apply to the Chicago Woman's Newspaper™. Some Publishers do not offer an 1/8 page ad size. Please check directly with each Publisher for the most up to date and accurate advertising information. Rates are subject to change.

Advertising Rates are based on camera-ready artwork. Copy is generally 800 words per full page (using a 12-point Tomes New Roman font). Photos need to be at least 200 dpi and should be saved as a ".tif" file with "LZW" compression enabled. All half tones should be 85-line screen. A velox printout is preferred. Generally, we are unable to accept ink-jet ad printouts. We are unable to guarantee the results of reverses, burns and fine print. Ads rarely float and will generally be re-bordered to fit the correct size.

Camera-ready art is accepted in pdf, eps, Quark with fonts & assets, or illustrator saved font outline formats. Photos can be saved in TIFF format with lzw compression. Copy can be saved as a plain text or in a word file. Media can be received via email, snail mail or in person on a CD ROM, DVD ROM, or floppy. We can also accept media via our FTP site.
